I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and have provided psychotherapy to children, individual adults, and couples for over fourteen years. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, and my clients describe me as positive, warm, and directive. I focus on building rapport and making clients feel comfortable, knowing that the therapeutic relationship can be so integral in facilitating change.

Before starting my own private practice in the western suburbs of Chicago, I worked in a community health center providing counseling, including to Spanish-speaking families, and as Director of Clinical Services in a group private practice in downtown Chicago. I attended the University of Michigan, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and Northwestern University, where I received my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.

I believe that therapy can cover a wide range of emotions as we progress through your journey—it’s ok to cry in therapy, but it’s also ok to laugh. I look to help my clients break destructive patterns, work through life’s challenges, and become the best possible versions of themselves.
